JBT Diversified Food & Health is a prime solutions and equipment provider within the fruit and vegetable industry segment. From preparation to preservation, conveying and packaging, our comprehensive range of technologies captures the freshness, taste, texture, appearance and nutritional value of fresh and processed fruit and vegetable products, and we have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HR Business Partner to join our team!
This position is located at our Lakeland, FL site and will be primarily responsible for the day to day running of the HR function including recruiting, employee relations, policy adminstration, benefits, maintenanace of system and general adminstration for the department. The role is a key position for our business and is an important be part of the local management team.

What to expect in the life a our HR Business Partner…
A hands-on role where you will own key HR activities including management the entire employee lifecycle process, including:
- Recruitment represent around 20% of your working week
- Host and Manage biweekly new hire orientation
- Ensure that corporate and local policies are administered consistently throughtout the division
- Assist in creation of the employee newsletter
- Administer disability claims
- Act as a liaison between employees and benefits providers when assistance is needed.
- Providing support to our managers with employee relations issues such as sick leave guidance, attendance and other policy compliance issues.
- Helping managers deliver pragmatic Training and Development programs in their respective teams.
- Complete monthly reports relating to headcount, metrics and turnover.
In general, being a trusted sounding board and advisor for our management team and employees.

Mandatory Requirements:
- BS degree or college business courses
- 3-5 years demonstrated Human Resources experience.
- Ability to evaluate and resolve problems independently.
- Above average communication skills, written and verbal.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office products.
- Experience working in a Manufacturing environment
Preferred Requirements but not essential:
- Billigual (English -Spanish)
- MSc in HR or Business related field
