Position Title:Security Guard

Shift: Part Time

Location:Greeley, CO

Reports to: Facilities Manager

Position Overview: Responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for all company facilities and assets. This role involves monitoring and patrolling company premises, managing access points, and responding to security incidents effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Patrol company premises and designated areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion.
• Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors and vehicles.
• Inspect and monitor access points, verifying credentials, and maintaining visitor logs.
• Ensure the security of the company’s fleet, including trucks and trailers, by conducting regular inspections.
• Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances or suspicious activity.
• Maintain security equipment, such as surveillance cameras and alarm systems, ensuring they are operational.
• Report any security breaches, incidents, or maintenance issues to appropriate personnel.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency services when necessary.
• Maintain detailed records of daily activities, observations, and any incidents.
  
  

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field preferred.
• Strong observational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to remain calm and act efficiently during emergencies.
• Excellent written and verbal skills
• Ability to stand or patrol for extended periods.
• Availability to work nights, weekends, holidays and cover open shifts as needed.
