Job Title: Wastewater DAF and Centrifuge Operator

Essential Job Functions
- Operate the wastewater Dissolved Air Flotation (DAF) system and skimmers
- Perform equipment shutdowns and clean‑in‑place (CIP) procedures for Centrisys, melt tank, and other related equipment
- Grease Centrisys, paunch press, and bearings according to the established schedule
- Clean DAF areas, including dry pickup, foam removal, and rinsing
- Restart the system and operate until first shift arrives
- Coordinate with first shift, complete required paperwork, and submit documentation
- Operate powered industrial trucks, including forklifts and skid loaders
- Perform lockout/tagout procedures on equipment as required
- Perform other duties as assigned by upper management
- Prior wastewater experience preferred, but not required
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred, but not required
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships and work collaboratively
- Ability to work in conditions of extreme heat and in wet, steamy environments
- Understand and operate touchscreen‑controlled equipment
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Ability to work flexible hours, including some Saturdays
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to work with chemicals safely
- Ability to multitask
- Strong attention to detail
