REFRIGERATION TECHNICIAN
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, repair, install and maintain site ammonia refrigeration systems
- Day to day maintenance repair to equipment
- Perform labeling and tagging of systems and/or checks for verifications
- Support the plant equipment, and maintaining a safe plant meeting all federal, state, and local
- Etc.
- Other duties as assigned
- Must pass a mechanical knowledge test
- Strong knowledge of industrial ammonia refrigeration operation in a food industry
- Basic computer skills necessary
- PLC knowledge preferred
- Physical demands: Climbing ladders, lifting, working with a variety of hand and power tools, shop machines and tools
- Work environment: Must be able to work in areas of extreme heat and extreme cold conditions
- Position requires a background check and drug test
- Must be able to learn quickly and make good decisions
- Must be able to work in a team environment and perform a variety of duties
