Position Title: Security Guard
Shift: Part Time
Department: Facilities
Location: Greeley, CO
Reports to: Facilities Manager
Position Overview: Responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for all company facilities and assets. This role involves monitoring and patrolling company premises, managing access points, and responding to security incidents effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Patrol company premises and designated areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion.
- Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors and vehicles.
- Inspect and monitor access points, verifying credentials, and maintaining visitor logs.
- Ensure the security of the company’s fleet, including trucks and trailers, by conducting regular inspections.
- Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances or suspicious activity.
- Maintain security equipment, such as surveillance cameras and alarm systems, ensuring they are operational.
- Report any security breaches, incidents, or maintenance issues to appropriate personnel.
- Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency services when necessary.
- Maintain detailed records of daily activities, observations, and any incidents.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field preferred.
- Strong observational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to remain calm and act efficiently during emergencies.
- Excellent written and verbal skills
- Ability to stand or patrol for extended periods.
- Availability to work nights, weekends, holidays and cover open shifts as needed.

- Base salary range of $17 per hour
