Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Plumber/Foreman to lead and oversee plumbing operations on construction sites. This role combines technical expertise with leadership skills to manage plumbing installations, ensure safety compliance, and coordinate with project teams. As a key player in our construction projects, you will drive quality, efficiency, and safety standards while supervising field crews and managing project timelines. Your hands-on experience in plumbing combined with construction management will ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.
Duties
- Lead and supervise plumbing installation teams, ensuring adherence to project specifications, schematics, and blueprints.
- Coordinate daily activities on-site, including scheduling, resource allocation, and task prioritization to meet project deadlines.
- Read and interpret construction blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide installation processes accurately.
- Oversee quality control measures, ensuring all work complies with safety standards such as OSHA regulations and industry best practices.
- Manage project documentation using construction management software like ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, HeavyBid, and other relevant tools.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, troubleshoot issues using tools like ohmmeters and schematics, and ensure safety protocols are followed.
- Collaborate with project managers on budgeting, contract management, and procurement of materials for plumbing systems including pipelines and fixtures.
Requirements
- Proven experience in plumbing within the construction industry with a strong background in construction site management.
- Supervising or foreman experience leading field crews on large-scale projects.
- Proficiency with construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, Primavera P6 Enterprise Project Portfolio Management (EPPM), HeavyBid or equivalent.
- Deep knowledge of plumbing systems including pipelines, schematics reading, and construction estimating.
- Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and implementing safety protocols on-site.
- Ability to read blueprints accurately and interpret technical schematics for plumbing installations.
- Experience with project scheduling tools and managing multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining quality standards.
- Strong management skills with the ability to supervise teams effectively and foster a collaborative work environment.
- Technical skills including ; familiarity with construction contracts; budgeting; quality control; and construction site experience.
