Key Responsibilities:

• Ensuring compliance with quality policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, with a strong focus on patient safety and product quality.
• Leading and supporting cross-functional projects, including planning, scheduling, and coordinating resources such as personnel, materials, timelines, and budgets.
• Applying electrical engineering expertise to solve complex problems at the component and system level.
• Designing and developing new products, as well as supporting product enhancements and changes.
• Conducting testing using existing protocols and developing new test methods as needed.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to support new product development and the improvement of existing products and processes.
• Supporting design control activities, including development and maintenance of design plans, specifications, protocols, and documentation.
• Overseeing external suppliers and consultants to ensure project success and quality standards.
• Contributing to intellectual property initiatives through invention disclosures and patent support.
• Building knowledge of products, customers, and market needs to support innovative solutions.
• Participating in continuous learning to stay current on industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
• Supporting a collaborative team environment by contributing to knowledge sharing, mentoring, and team development.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering with a minimum of 6 years of engineering experience, or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering with a minimum of 5 years of engineering experience.
• Experience in a regulated industry (medical device preferred).
• Strong electrical engineering fundamentals with experience in product development environments.
• Ability to lead and manage technical projects and cross-functional teams.
• Experience with design control processes and regulated product development.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills at both component and system levels.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
• Proficiency with standard computer software tools (e.g., Microsoft Office).
