Key Responsibilities:
- Managing project portfolios to ensure alignment with organizational goals
- Setting up and establishing a Project Management Office (PMO)
- Leading the creation of the project charter, management plan, and detailed Work Breakdown Structure.
- Directing, managing, monitoring, and controlling all aspects of the project through completion.
- Meeting with project stakeholders to clarify scope and reviewing requirements for approval.
- Developing and managing detailed project schedules, including Gantt charts, and analyzing critical paths and key workstreams.
- Establishing, monitoring, and maintaining project budgets in coordination with leadership.
- Partnering with teams to create and maintain project Quality Plans utilizing appropriate quality planning tools.
- Developing and tracking risk management plans, including risk identification, analysis, and mitigation monitoring.
- Contributing to procurement strategy and collaborating on partner selection when applicable.
- Estimating, acquiring, and assigning project team resources; defining roles, responsibilities, and deliverables.
- Providing performance feedback to functional managers when appropriate.
- Developing stakeholder management plans based on expectations analysis.
- Executing project communication strategies for both internal teams and business stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent preferred.
- 4 years of relevant work experience in project management.
- Experience leading cross-functional project teams.
- Strong organization, communication, and analytical skills.
- Bringing experience in medical device or pharmaceutical environments (considered a plus).
- PMP certification or equivalent preferred.
- Knowledge of quality systems and compliance requirements.
