Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position based in Caldwell, ID, for a Master Level III Light Duty Diesel Technician. The role involves diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing light-duty diesel vehicles, ensuring optimal performance and safety. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting preventative maintenance, extensive troubleshooting issues, and executing high-quality repairs. Capable of lifting cabs, engine and transmission swaps.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Vehicle Maintenance and Preventive Maintenance to ensure reliable and efficient operations
- Strong skills in Troubleshooting and Maintenance & Repair for diagnosing and resolving vehicle issues
- Capable of extensive engine work such as replacement of cylinder heads on diesel engines
- Diagnostic including electrical diagnostic experience required
- 10 years experience with light-duty diesel vehicles and diagnostic tools
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail
- Clean and organized working environment
- A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
