JBAndrews have partnered with a publicly listed Building Products manufacturer with multi-billion dollar revenue and manufacturing operations across the US and Europe.
They are seeking a Senior R&D Process Engineer to join the team at one of their facilities in Sikeston, MO.
You'll join a small, senior engineering team, working directly alongside plant leadership and the product development function to take projects from concept through commissioning - owning capital projects, process optimization, and equipment reliability on a production line that runs at real scale.
What you'll do:
- Lead capital projects from scope through startup - equipment upgrades, capacity expansion, automation initiatives.
- Partner with product development on scale-up: prototype through production volume trials, quality, and process metrics.
- Own process troubleshooting and continuous improvement on the manufacturing floor.
- Work cross-functionally with operations, maintenance, quality and EH&S.
What you'll bring:
- Mechanical, chemical, or process engineering degree
- 8 years in manufacturing engineering, with direct capital project leadership
- Hands-on experience with production equipment - line/process troubleshooting, not just project management from a desk
- Comfortable owning a project end to end, not handing it off after design
