Title- R&D Manager
Position Overview
The R&D Manager will lead the Research & Development department, driving innovation and overseeing the development of new nutraceutical products from concept to commercialization. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and a strategic mindset to ensure compliance with regulatory standards while meeting market demands.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all R&D activities, including new product development, formulation optimization, and technical problem-solving.
- Oversee development of multiple dosage forms: capsules, tablets, powders, gummies, and liquids.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Quality, Regulatory, Production) to ensure smooth scale-up and commercialization.
- Conduct feasibility studies, ingredient sourcing, and cost analysis for new projects.
- Ensure compliance with cGMP, FDA, and other regulatory requirements throughout the development process.
- Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes.
- Mentor and develop R&D team members, fostering innovation and continuous improvement.
Qualifications and Expertise
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related field.
- Minimum 8-10 years of experience in R&D within the nutraceutical or dietary supplement industry.
- Proven track record in formulation development and product innovation.
- Strong knowledge of cGMP, regulatory compliance, and product development lifecycle.
- Excellent leadership, project management, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
