Title: Director of Operations, Contract Logistics
Salary: $150,000 - $190,000 USD bonus local benefits

JBAndrews is currently partnered with a growing provider of Contract Logistics as they look to appoint a Director of Operations for their sites in Augusta, Georgia. Experience with automation is preferred and the ability to present to C-Suite is essential.
About the role:
The Director of Operations is responsible for the operation and financial performance by providing direction and leadership to associates at this facility. This position is responsible for developing and leading a team that will manage the employee performance, inventory, vendor, carrier, and customer relationships. This role is ultimately responsible for ensuring that orders are selected accurately and packed/shipped without damage for timely delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Full P&L responsibility
- Ensure safe, clean, and efficient warehouse operations
- Ensure quality management system procedures are implemented and followed throughout the facility.
- Oversight and management of both operations and administrative/customer service functions
- Monitors and ensures financial goals are met, providing updates and progress regularly to executive team
- Assists in rate negotiations by supplying pertinent data and customer requirements to management, in addition to overseeing rate filings for local clients
- Works in conjunction with sales team to vet potential business opportunities
- Interviews, hires, terminates, executes corrective action and participates in regular staff conversations
- Conducts annual reviews for exempt/supervisor employees and others if needed
- Recommends and implements salary changes for staff
- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
- Previous leadership experience with oversight of multiple managers and supervisors
- Project management
- Minimum of 7 years industry experience; Minimum of 5 years management experience
- Bachelor's degree preferred
