Job Description:
- Must be willing to work out of Corporate office in Woodland Hills.
- Self- perform structural concrete experience.
- General contracting experience.
- Multi-Family podium projects.
- Design/Build Long-span Parking Structures.
- Detailed quantity Take-offs.
- Preparing complete project estimates.
- Preparing general conditions estimates
- Monitoring cost trends to detect over-runs and potential problem areas.
- Participating in the value engineering process.
- Developing, updating, and maintaining unit cost figures, estimating database (s).
- Interfacing with subcontractors, suppliers, upper management, operations personnel, clients, and potential clients.
- Follow up on proposals, preconstruction activities and assisting in development of staff.
- Other duties as may be directed.
Skills required include but are not limited to:
- An aptitude and desire for growth.
- Proven ability to develop estimating strategies and procedures.
- Good subcontractors and supplier’s relationships.
- Abreast of market activity to help position the company for strategic opportunities, and to win projects.
- Proven ability to develop and expand networks and relationships quickly and within a multitude of settings.
- Direct experience driving the development of project proposals and interviews.
- Ability to understand and articulate the company’s strategy in various ways.
- Strong communication abilities; including presentation skills (verbal and written).
