Looking for a local Class A CDL Driver.
Responsibilities
• Operate a commercial tractor-trailer to transport goods or materials to and from local destinations within a designated service area.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck and trailer to ensure safe and efficient operation in compliance with DOT and company standards.
• Secure and verify loads, ensuring proper weight distribution and safe transport.
• Follow all federal, state, and local traffic laws, as well as company safety policies and procedures.
• Maintain accurate driver logs, delivery records, and paperwork, including bills of lading and time sheets.
• Communicate with dispatchers, customers, and warehouse personnel to coordinate pickup and delivery schedules.
• Inspect and report mechanical issues or safety concerns to the maintenance department promptly.
• Unload and/or assist with loading freight as required (using pallet jacks, lift gates, or other equipment).
• Represent the company professionally when interacting with customers and the public.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned vehicle and equipment.
Qualifications
Two years verifiable Class A CDL driving experience with a clean driving record.
Salary : $70,000 - $85,000
