What You'll Do
As an Audit & Assurance Manager, you'll play a key leadership role overseeing client engagements, mentoring staff, and ensuring exceptional client service.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and review audit, review, and compilation engagements
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, GAAS, and SSARS standards
- Lead engagement planning, execution, and final delivery
- Oversee multiple client engagements while maintaining quality and deadlines
- Serve as a trusted advisor to clients on accounting, audit, and business matters
- Review tax engagements and identify planning opportunities
- Mentor, coach, and develop staff accountants and seniors
- Build long-term client relationships through proactive communication and exceptional service
- Contribute to the continued growth and success of the firm
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
- Active CPA license
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- 5 years of public accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of:
- GAAP
- GAAS
- SSARS
- Experience managing audit and assurance engagements
- Proven leadership and team development skills
- Strong communication and client relationship management abilities
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience serving real estate clients
- Exposure to tax planning and tax review work
- Experience with QuickBooks, Lacerte, SurePrep, Thomson Reuters Suite, or similar platforms
