What are the responsibilities and job description for the Kennel Technician – Holiday Help (Thanksgiving & Christmas) position at Jazz's Wonderland?
Holiday hiring at Jazz's Wonderland Pet Resort & Spa! We're looking for experienced, upbeat dog people to join our team for our two busiest seasons:
- Thanksgiving: Nov 20–30
- Christmas & New Year's: Dec 18–Jan 4
You don't need to work every day. Any days you can give us during those weeks help a lot. Strong team members may be offered a spot after the holidays.
Shifts
- Morning: 6:00 AM – 1:30 PM (our biggest need)
- Afternoon: 1:30 PM – 7:30 PM
- Weekends and holidays included
What you'll do
- Care for dogs in daycare, boarding and our play yards: feeding, meds, potty breaks, playtime and cleaning
- Keep kennels, yards and equipment clean and safe
- Watch dog body language and keep playgroups safe
- Greet pet parents at drop-off and pick-up with a smile
- Help at Jazz's events from time to time (adoption days, community events, school fairs)
What we're looking for
- Experience with dogs (kennel, daycare, vet clinic, grooming, pet sitting or rescue)
- Outgoing, friendly and comfortable talking with pet parents
- Reliable, on time and a team player
- Your own car (for reliable early shifts and events)
- Able to lift 50 lbs and be on your feet the whole shift
- 18 or older
