Dispensary Associate

The Jazz Cannabis Club is a leading cannabis dispensary dedicated to providing high-quality products and exceptional customer service. We pride ourselves on creating a welcoming, knowledgeable environment for both new and seasoned cannabis users.

We are opening a new Inkster location soon and we are hiring for that location.

Position Overview:
As a Dispensary Associate, you will serve as the face of the Jazz Cannabis Club, providing knowledgeable and professional service to customers and patients. You’ll be responsible for assisting customers in product selection, educating them on cannabis strains, uses, and consumption methods, and ensuring they have a positive and informed shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Welcome and engage with customers, providing them with expert recommendations tailored to their preferences and needs.
• Educate customers on cannabis products, including strains, edibles, concentrates, and topicals, as well as proper usage and dosage.
• Maintain a deep understanding of state and local regulations regarding cannabis sales and consumption.
• Handle transactions accurately, including cash and electronic payments.
• Keep up to date with the latest cannabis industry trends, products, and innovations.
• Ensure the dispensary floor is well-stocked, clean, and organized.
• Follow all compliance and security procedures for the handling and distribution of cannabis.
• Assist with inventory management, including receiving, storing, and restocking products.
• Provide a positive, welcoming atmosphere that fosters repeat business and customer loyalty.

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of cannabis products, strains, and consumption methods.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic math skills and attention to detail when handling transactions.
• Previous experience in retail or customer service (cannabis industry experience preferred).
• Comfortable working with a point-of-sale (POS) system.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Preferred Skills:

• Strong knowledge of state and local cannabis laws and regulations.
• Adept at customer service and ability to maintain a friendly and jovial disposition.

Pay: $30,000.00 - $40,000.00 per year
