We are seeking a dynamic and bilingual Medical Receptionist to join our healthcare team! Responsibilities

• Greet patients warmly and assist them with check-in procedures using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems such as eClinicalWorks.
• Schedule appointments, confirm patient details, and manage clinic calendars with precision.
• Collect and verify insurance information, process medical billing, and handle collections in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Answer multi-line phone systems professionally, providing information or directing calls to appropriate staff members.
• Maintain organized medical records, files, and electronic health records (EHR) management systems while ensuring confidentiality.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare policies including HIPAA and clinical confidentiality policies while delivering outstanding patient service.

Skills

• Proven experience in a medical office setting with strong knowledge of medical terminology and health information management.
• Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems such as eClinicalWorks; familiarity with electronic health records management is preferred.
• Excellent bilingual communication skills in Spanish and English; able to assist diverse patient populations effectively.
• Exceptional customer service skills combined with professional phone etiquette and effective phone communication abilities.
• Adept at handling medical scheduling, front desk duties, filing, and maintaining clinical confidentiality policies.
• Demonstrated clerical experience with office organization, filing systems, typing, and data entry accuracy.
