Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support
- Provide companionship and emotional encouragement
- Administer medications (if certified) and monitor health status
- Follow individualized care plans and document daily observations accurately
- Communicate effectively with families, supervisors, and healthcare professionals about client progress or concerns
- Maintain a safe and clean environment, following all safety and infection-control protocols
- Respond quickly to emergencies or changes in client condition
Qualifications
- Compassionate, dependable, and committed to client-centered care
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to adapt to different care needs and work independently
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred
- CPR/First Aid and QMAP certification a plus
- Previous caregiving, home health aide, or CNA experience preferred (training provided for the right candidates)
