Duties
- Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, edging, and pruning to keep grounds looking pristine
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for planting, digging, aerating, and other gardening activities
- Maintain irrigation systems by inspecting, repairing, and adjusting sprinklers to ensure proper watering schedules
- Apply lawn care treatments such as fertilization and weed control to promote healthy turf growth
- Assist with planting new greenery, shrubs, flowers, and trees while following horticultural best practices
- Conduct routine inspections of the grounds to identify issues requiring maintenance or repair
- Support overall landscaping projects by preparing soil beds, mulching, and installing landscape features
Experience
- Prior experience in landscaping, gardening, or groundskeeping is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are highly valued
