Job Title: Inventory Specialist
Reports To: Store Lead
FLSA Status: Non-exempt
Full/Part Time: Full Time
GENERAL SUMMARY
The Inventory Specialist’s responsibility is to ensure that all shelves in the store are stocked with products and displayed in a way that will provide maximum customer attention and shop-ability. The job also requires responsibility for making sure the right products are in the right place, correctly priced, and any merchandising issues or shortages are immediately resolved.
BENEFITS:
Team members who have worked an average of 36 hours a week or more and have completed six months of employment with the Company, are entitled to 24 hours of sick time per calendar year.
Team Members who work an average of 30 hours per week or more also may receive two paid holidays (dependent on if the holiday falls on a Sunday) throughout the calendar year.
Basic health insurance is offered after 90 days of employment to Team Members who work an average 36 hours per week or more.
A 401(k) non-employer matching plan is available to everyone who meets the eligibility criteria.
PAY RANGE: $13.00 - $18.00
Starting pay is based upon experience.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Ensure a positive, professional, and safe work environment for all associates.
Print and ensure that all bin tags are put out on a timely basis.
Work with Store Lead as needed.
Communicate consistently and frequently at the store and company levels.
Respond to all forms of correspondence immediately, if possible.
Maximize customer interest and sales levels by displaying products appropriately and maintaining all end caps.
Utilize and execute the monthly signage kit to maximize customer interest and sales levels.
Monitor stock movement by keeping back stock at a minimum.
Implement and consistently execute a modified version of the Labor Force Optimization (LFO) process and procedures.
Perform all other duties as assigned.
Perform all monthly and weekly duties as assigned
Complete monthly Mango sheets by the 21st of each month
Complete all weekly IS Google Sheets checklist
Complete weekly NOH reports
Complete weekly ICM & PCM tasks
Complete weekly price changes
Shoot-outs weekly
Handle Lost Dogs accurately and weekly
Assist to ensure all signage is current in the store.
Assist in presenting a clean and orderly sales floor, including end caps, promotional and incremental merchandising.
Prepare and receive transfers timely and accurately.
Organize all supplies, new products, and current session/s for upcoming resets.
PRIORITIZING RESPONSIBILITIES
All products must be on the shelves to maintain correct inventory and sell-ability; therefore,
Put up all freight and lost dogs, weekly, before working on Mangos, NOH, or shooting outs.
Complete and enter NOH report information the day they are sent out. If it is not completed, immediately inform the Inventory & Pricing Leader. An updated report will be generated and sent to you. DO NOT print them off yourself.
Complete Mango reports AFTER the completion of NOH.
ICM & PCM reports follow the completion of NOH and Mango reports.
New price changes take priority over completing any reports. Immediately print and put out the new price changes. Enlist the entire store team to accomplish this task. Resumed the completion of all reports AFTER ALL new price changes are in place.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT
While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The associate frequently is required to use hands or fingers; handle or feel objects, tools, or controls. The associate is required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms for the duration of their entire shift. The associate will occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. This position also requires that the associate meet the truck each week (maybe twice a week) at the appointed time set by the Ace Hardware Retail Support Center.
