We are looking for a detail-oriented Title Clerk to join our dealership team! This is a great opportunity to play a key behind-the-scenes role in keeping our vehicle transactions running smoothly and accurately. Responsibilities:
- Process and submit vehicle titles, registrations, and lien releases accurately and on time
- Coordinate with the Ohio BMV and other state agencies to ensure proper title transfers
- Maintain and organize title files, deal jackets, and related documentation
- Communicate with lenders, customers, and sales staff regarding title status and issues
- Audit title paperwork for accuracy and compliance with state regulations
- Track and resolve any title discrepancies or delays in a timely manner
- Process out-of-state titles and handle special title situations as needed
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Title Clerk in an automotive dealership preferred
- Familiarity with Ohio BMV title and registration processes is a strong plus
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation
- Proficiency with dealership management software (DMS) is a plus
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to communicate professionally with customers, lenders, and team members
- High school diploma or equivalent required
