Medical Assistant

JAYHAWK FOOT AND ANKLE CLINIC LLC is seeking a full-time Medical Assistant to support patient care and the day-to-day operations of a busy podiatry clinical setting in Lenexa, KS (hours 8am-4pm or 9am-5pm).

As a Medical Assistant, you will help ensure smooth patient flow, assist clinicians during examinations, and maintain accurate, timely documentation. This role is ideal for someone who is dependable, patient-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

You will support both clinical and administrative needs, contributing to a positive patient experience from check-in through follow-up. Your commitment to professionalism, confidentiality, and quality care will be essential to the clinic’s success.

• Room patients, confirm information, and help coordinate appointments and check-in/check-out processes

• Assist providers with patient care activities, including preparing exam rooms and supporting during visits as directed

• Collect and record basic patient information and medical history in an accurate and timely manner

• Maintain patient records and support documentation needs according to clinic procedures and privacy standards

• Support clinic operations by keeping supplies stocked, helping maintain cleanliness and organization of clinical areas

• High school diploma or equivalent experience in a healthcare or clinical support role

• Strong interpersonal skills with a professional, patient-centered approach

• Ability to follow clinical instructions accurately and maintain confidentiality

• Comfort working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple priorities

• Basic knowledge of medical terminology and routine clinical processes

• Experience working as a Medical Assistant or in a similar clinical support position

• Familiarity with clinical documentation practices and patient privacy expectations

• Training or certification related to medical assisting

• Demonstrated ability to support patient care while maintaining efficiency and attention to detail

• ModMed EHR/PM experience helpful

Hourly rate: $17.50 - $19.00

PTO after 90 days and yearly

Health Insurance after 90 days [company pays 50% of monthly premium]

We are looking to interview the end of OCTOBER 2026 for the position to start training in NOVEMBER 2026. The current Medical Assistant is leaving for school December 4, 2026.
