Position Overview:
JayCo. Ink is seeking a creative and motivated Graphic Designer Intern to join our team at our McAllen location. This internship offers a hands-on opportunity to work on real projects, gain practical experience in graphic design, and contribute to a variety of design initiatives. As a Graphic Designer Intern, you will collaborate with our design team to create compelling visuals for print and digital media.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in creating designs for screen printing, embroidery, promotional products, and signage.
- Collaborate with the design team to develop concepts and finalize artwork for client projects.
- Work on branding materials, including logos, brochures, and digital assets.
- Prepare design files for production, ensuring accuracy and adherence to specifications.
- Participate in client meetings and presentations to understand project requirements.
- Stay updated with design trends and incorporate them into your work.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and maintaining high-quality standards.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
- Strong portfolio showcasing design skills and creativity.
- Excellent attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong communication and time-management skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new design challenges.
