School Site Office Secretary
Reports to: Building Principal
Supervises: n/a
Qualifications: High school diploma or GED
Proficient in Microsoft Word
General knowledge of computers and office equipment
Highly organized
Job Objective: Provide clerical assistance to school site personnel.
Employment Terms: 180 days x 8 hours (1440 hours)
FLSA Classification: Non-exempt
Evaluation: Annually by building principal

Regular Requirements: Sit for extended periods; twist at the neck and trunk; bend and reach at, below and above shoulder level, repetitive use of fingers and hands to grasp and/or operate equipment; lift/move up to 15 pounds
Occasional Requirements: Walk, reach with hands and arms overhead, above shoulder and horizontally; lift/move up to 25 pounds
Visual Requirements: Close, color, peripheral, depth perception, ability to adjust focus
Hearing/Speaking Requirements: Adequate to exchange information
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain all school site files as requested by principal.
- Type and distribute memos and notices under the supervision of the principal.
- Sort and distribute school site mail.
- Maintain, inventory and purchase supplies as needed in accordance with district purchasing procedures.
- Contact substitutes as needed.
- Substitute for the receptionist during his/her break/absences as needed.
- Update Wen-Gage as needed.
- Comply with all federal, state and local laws and board policies and procedures.
- Utilize professional behavior in all school related interactions.
- Perform all other tasks as requested by supervisor.
Salary : $14 - $20
