Overview
We are seeking an energetic and highly organized Front Desk Receptionist to be the welcoming face of our store. This vital role involves screening incoming phone calls and greeting in-store visitors, provide outstanding customer service, and assist with social media accounts as needed. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Greet in-store visitors with professionalism and warmth, creating a positive first impression, and direct them to the appropriate department or individual.
- Manage multi-line phone systems, directing calls accurately and courteously while maintaining phone etiquette.
- Communicate with customers via phone, text, and email as required by all departments.
- Assist with appointment scheduling, calendar management, and coordinating meetings or events as needed.
- Provide customer support by addressing inquiries promptly and professionally both in person and via phone or email.
- Utilize computer skills across Microsoft Office Suite and other office software to streamline daily operations.
- Perform administrative and office tasks as requested.
- Process incoming and outgoing mail to the correct departments.
- Assist in keeping the customer lounge presentable for customers.
- Other related duties as assigned.
Experience
- Previous office experience or clerical experience is preferred; familiarity with front desk operations is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Demonstrated customer service skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and multitask in a busy environment.
- Superior problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Knowledge of PC software, particularly Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of social media sites such as Facebook, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
- Ability to enter and extract data from a database highly desired.
- Knowledge of power sports, marine and agriculture parts and accessories preferred, but not required.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
Schedule
- Tuesday through Friday: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM
- Saturday: 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM
- Closed on Sunday and Monday
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
