Plumber with Computer Skills

Job Description:
Jay R. Reynolds, Inc. is seeking an experienced plumber with strong computer skills that desires to work in an office environment.  This role involves creating detailed plumbing system drawings, collaborating with project managers and field teams, and ensuring designs meet applicable codes and project requirements. 

Key Responsibilities:

·         Create and modify plumbing system drawings using Autodesk Revit

·         Interpret construction documents, blueprints, and specifications

·         Design layouts for water supply, drainage, and venting systems

·         Coordinate with contractors, and project professionals

·         Ensure compliance with local plumbing codes and regulations

·         Revise drawings based on feedback and field conditions

Qualifications:

·         Proven experience in plumbing (field or design)

·         Strong understanding of plumbing systems and layouts

·         Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings

·         Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills

·         Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Preferred Qualifications:

·         Proficiency in AutoCAD / Autodesk Revit

·         Experience with commercial plumbing design and installation

·         Familiarity with additional design software (Revit is a plus)

·         Relevant certifications or licenses in plumbing or drafting
