Class A CDL Driver / Manufacturing Associate
Job Overview
We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Class A CDL Driver / Manufacturing Associate to join our team in Montgomery City, MO. This position combines occasional local driving responsibilities with hands-on work in our manufacturing facility, including forklift operation, material handling, and production support.
The ideal candidate will have a Class A CDL, experience operating forklifts and trailers, and a willingness to assist in various plant operations when deliveries are not scheduled. Most driving will consist of local trips using a 1-ton truck and trailer, allowing employees to be home daily.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a 1-ton truck and trailer for local deliveries and pickups.
- Transport materials and products between company locations and customers as needed.
- Load, unload, and secure materials for safe transportation.
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment within the manufacturing facility.
- Assist with general manufacturing, warehouse, and production duties.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Maintain accurate delivery, mileage, and inspection records.
- Follow all DOT regulations, company policies, and safety procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Work collaboratively with production and shipping teams to meet operational goals.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with an acceptable driving record.
- Forklift experience preferred.
- Ability to safely operate trucks, trailers, and warehouse equipment.
- Manufacturing or warehouse experience preferred.
- Strong attention to safety and detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 lbs.
- Strong time-management and communication skills.
