Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Automotive Sales Manager to lead our Jay Honda sales team and drive revenue growth. The candidate must have strong leadership skills to develop our team and prepare for the transition into our next generation, state of the art Honda sales and service facility in 2026. This role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee sales operations, develop strategic marketing initiatives, and foster excellent customer relationships in a fast-paced retail environment with an award winning brand.

Duties

  • Lead and motivate the automotive sales team to achieve individual and dealership sales targets
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies, including outbound calls, cold calling, and B2B sales approaches
  • Manage the entire sales pipeline from prospecting to closing, ensuring consistent lead generation and follow-up
  • Conduct negotiations with customers to maximize upselling opportunities while maintaining customer satisfaction
  • Oversee inventory management and control to ensure optimal stock levels for high-end vehicle sales
  • Utilize CRM software to track customer interactions, monitor sales performance, and generate reports
  • Coordinate marketing efforts to attract new clients through various channels including digital marketing and public speaking engagements
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries promptly via phone etiquette and professional communication skills
  • Organize and participate in promotional events, dealership tours, and community outreach programs to enhance brand visibility
  • Support the sales team with training on product knowledge, sales techniques, and organizational skills

Experience

  • Proven experience in automotive or retail sales management, preferably within a dealership setting
  • Extensive background in outside sales, B2B sales, high-end automotive sales, and retail math
  • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close deals effectively while maintaining positive customer relationships
  • Experience with CRM software, inventory management systems, and inventory control processes
  • Excellent organizational skills coupled with proficiency in public speaking and marketing strategies
  • Multilingual or bilingual abilities are considered a significant advantage for engaging diverse clientele
  • Demonstrated success in building a robust sales pipeline through outbound efforts such as cold calling and networking
  • Prior experience in dealership operations including inventory management, upselling techniques, and retail math calculations

This role is ideal for a motivated professional eager to lead a successful automotive sales team while delivering exceptional service to customers.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
