Role
The Key Holder is a trusted leader on the sales floor, supporting store operations and delivering a premium customer experience. This role assists store leadership with opening and closing procedures, acts as a point of support for sales associates, and helps maintain JAXXON’s high standards for service, merchandising, and operational execution.
Essential Responsibilities
Leadership & Store Support
- Open and close the store following established procedures
- Serve as a leader on the sales floor and support team execution during shifts
- Act as a point of contact in the absence of store management
- Support onboarding and training of new team members
- Lead by example in professionalism, attendance, and brand representation
Customer Experience
- Deliver white-glove customer service aligned with JAXXON’s premium brand standards
- Maintain strong product knowledge, including promotions, featured merchandise, and marketing initiatives
- Assist in resolving customer questions and concerns in real time
- Champion JAXXON’s brand identity and culture on the sales floor
Operational Excellence
- Support daily store operations, including cash handling and register accuracy
- Assist with inventory tasks such as receiving and processing
- Maintain visual merchandising and store presentation standards
- Follow loss prevention, safety, and operational compliance procedures
- Support sales goals, conversion, and store KPIs
- Schedule
To meet business needs, Key Holders are expected to maintain flexible availability, including weekends and peak sales days.The holiday season is a critical sales period, and availability is required from the week of Thanksgiving through the first week of January.
Qualifications & Skills
- 1–2 years of retail experience (lead, key holder, or senior associate experience preferred)
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions when needed
- Comfortable taking on leadership responsibilities during assigned shifts
- Ability to lift, push, or carry up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand and move for the duration of a shift
- Ability to work varying days and hours based on business needs
- English proficiency
