JAX Truck Alignment is a growing heavy-duty truck repair facility in Jacksonville, FL. We specialize in Volvo, Freightliner, Kenworth, Peterbilt, Mack, and International trucks. We are looking for an experienced Semi Truck Electrical Technician to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair electrical issues on Class 8 semi trucks.
- Troubleshoot starting and charging systems.
- Repair wiring harnesses, connectors, and electrical components.
- Diagnose and repair ABS, lighting, trailer electrical, and communication systems.
- Perform battery, alternator, and starter testing and replacement.
- Use diagnostic software and electrical testing equipment.
- Read wiring diagrams and manufacturer schematics.
- Ensure all repairs meet DOT safety standards.
Qualifications
- 2 years of heavy-duty truck electrical diagnostic experience.
- Strong understanding of 12V/24V electrical systems.
- Experience with Volvo, Freightliner, Kenworth, Peterbilt, or International trucks.
- Familiarity with OEM diagnostic software is a plus.
- Ability to diagnose complex electrical problems efficiently.
- Own basic tools.
