Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, and repair mechanical systems, including motors, pumps, conveyors, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems.
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and execute repairs in a timely and efficient manner.
• Perform preventive maintenance to reduce downtime and increase equipment longevity.
• Monitor and calibrate machinery to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards.
• Collaborate with operations teams to minimize disruption to daily car wash activities.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and document repair procedures.
• Install and configure new mechanical components and systems.
• Ensure adherence to all OSHA safety regulations and company safety policies.
• Provide on-call support for emergency maintenance issues as needed.
• Assist with equipment upgrades and retrofits to improve performance and efficiency. Provide documentation, training, and knowledge sharing for internal stakeholders on AD and cybersecurity tools and practices.

Job Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a mechanical maintenance or technician role
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems, tools, and diagnostic equipment.
• Working knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, pumps, and PLCs.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics
• Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various environmental conditions
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts as needed

Preferred but not required:

• Technical certification in mechanical or industrial maintenance
• Working knowledge of mechanical systems, including motors, pumps, bearings, and hand tools
• Basic electrical skills, including knowledge of 240-480 volt systems
• Familiarity with air compressors, torch use (oxygen/acetylene), and electrical troubleshooting
• Hands-on experience using diagnostic tools and equipment

Work Environment & Physical Demands

• This position involves physical work in both indoor and outdoor environments.

• Must be comfortable working around moving machinery, water, and cleaning chemicals.

• Requires bending, lifting, climbing ladders, and standing for extended periods.

• May involve occasional travel between locations for equipment support.
