Accounting Clerk 

Position Overview

We are looking for a highly organized, dependable, and timely individual to join our company. This position will provide support to our Accounts Payable department and assist with accounting, project documentation, and general office tasks.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, takes initiative, communicates well, and is comfortable managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced construction environment. WE ARE WILLING TO TRAIN THE RIGHT CANDIDATE. 

Responsibilities

• Assist the Accounts Payable department with various accounting and administrative tasks as needed.
• Review daily logs submitted by foremen.
• Prepare and complete purchase orders (POs).
• Assist with preparing and maintaining subcontracts.
• Organize and maintain accounting and project files.
• Follow up on outstanding paperwork and documentation.
• Assist with other accounting and administrative tasks as needed.
• Support the office and project teams with additional duties as assigned.

• Strong communication and follow-up skills.
• Comfortable working with paperwork, documentation, and computer systems.
• Previous accounting, accounts payable, or construction experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work independently while also being a team player.
