A Day In The Life
The General Manager of Bar 47 will handle day-to-day operations while building and executing a strategic plan to improve the guest experience and instill a culture of positivity and growth within the whole Bar 47 team. This person will expected to develop and mentor a bench of future leaders and support growth initiatives within the brand. They will lead the restaurants to strong financial performance in revenue growth and cost controls. The GM provides strategic vision, oversees the restaurant leadership team, and provides guidance to the kitchen manager and bar to achieve short and long-term company objectives.
- Manage weekly schedule approval
- Work side by side with your restaurant leaders in your assigned area
- Approve all manager time off requests and always ensure store coverage
- Maintain proper store inventory and ordering
- Train and mentor new employees
- Conduct employee evaluations
- Conduct staff meetings and mset company objectives
- Work with the marketing team to meet company objectives
- Work with the managers to complete weekly labor forecasting and budget goals
