Position SummaryThe Mission-Critical Mechanical Technician supports field operations on industrial and data center construction projects throughout the United States. Technicians assist with the installation, operation, and maintenance of temporary mechanical systems used for flushing, passivation, filtration, water treatment, and system commissioning activities.
This position offers the opportunity to develop specialized technical skills while working on some of the most advanced facilities being built today.
Responsibilities- Assist with the setup, operation, and teardown of pumps, filtration systems, and temporary mechanical equipment.
- Install and remove temporary hoses, piping, valves, and fittings.
- Support flushing, cleaning, passivation, and water treatment operations.
- Monitor pressures, temperatures, flow rates, and equipment performance.
- Collect water samples and perform basic field testing.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and material handling equipment.
- Load, unload, inspect, and maintain company equipment.
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas.
- Complete daily reports, field documentation, and equipment logs.
- Follow all company, client, and site safety requirements.
- Travel to project sites throughout North America.
