Javelin Operations is a specialty contractor supporting mission-critical data center and liquid cooling projects throughout North America. Our services include mechanical flushing, chemical treatment, stainless steel passivation, filtration, and startup support for chilled water and liquid cooling systems.
We are seeking a Mechanical Project Engineer to support project planning, hydraulic modeling, flush plan development, and field execution.
Responsibilities
• Develop hydraulic models and flow calculations for piping systems
• Create flushing, filtration, and passivation plans
• Review mechanical drawings, specifications, and piping layouts
• Evaluate temporary pumping and filtration systems
• Support estimating, project planning, and technical documentation
• Assist with field execution, troubleshooting, and startup activities
• Help implement and standardize engineering software and internal processes
• Travel to project sites as required
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Understanding of fluid mechanics, pumps, piping systems, and hydraulics
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications
• Strong communication and organizational skills
Preferred
• Experience with Datacor Fathom, Pipe Flow, or similar software
• Experience with industrial, mechanical, or mission-critical systems
• AutoCAD, Plant 3D, or Revit experience
• Construction or field engineering experience
