- Location – would like them to be in Nashville, yet open to remote.
- Travel – 50% travel the first two to three months. These will be short visits, typically 1-3 days on-site at remote locations. The travel will end after the first couple of months.
- They will start interviews the first week of the new year, and the candidate will begin as soon as possible following the interview.
Summary
The Solution Architect will play a pivotal role in defining, designing, and architecting technology solutions that optimize business processes—both current and re-engineered. This position requires close collaboration with business stakeholders, technical teams, and end users to understand operational needs and deliver solutions that drive efficiency, automation, and engagement. The role involves organizing and synthesizing input materials, mapping current state processes, and identifying where technology can be leveraged to improve, accelerate, or automate key workflows. Occasional travel may be required to engage with end users and stakeholders across locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Organize and Analyze Input Materials: Gather, structure, and review business requirements, process documentation, and stakeholder input to inform solution design.
- Current State Assessment: Map and document existing business processes, systems, and pain points to establish a baseline for improvement.
- Technology Opportunity Identification: Evaluate where new or existing technologies can be applied to enhance, automate, or accelerate business processes.
- Solution Architecture: Design scalable, secure, and reliable technology solutions that align with enterprise architecture standards and business objectives.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Facilitate workshops, interviews, and working sessions with end users and business leaders to capture requirements and validate solutions.
- Process Re-engineering: Collaborate with business analysts and process owners to reimagine workflows, integrating technology to maximize efficiency and user experience.
- Implementation Guidance: Provide direction and support to development teams throughout the solution lifecycle, including design, build, test, and deployment phases.
- Documentation: Create and maintain architectural artifacts, process diagrams, and solution guidelines.
- Continuous Improvement: Research emerging technologies and best practices to recommend enhancements to existing solutions and processes.
- Travel: Participate in onsite engagements as needed to support solution discovery, design, and implementation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
- 5 years of experience in solution architecture, business process analysis, or technology consulting.
- Proven ability to organize and synthesize complex input materials and requirements.
- Strong analytical skills with experience mapping current state processes and identifying improvement opportunities.
- Expertise in designing and implementing technology solutions that are secure, scalable, and compliant with relevant regulations (e.g., HIPAA, HITECH).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, Google Cloud), automation tools (Robotic Process Automation), and enterprise systems (Salesforce, ServiceNow) is a plus.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Willingness to travel as required for stakeholder engagement and solution delivery.
Salary : $90 - $105
