Job Description:

Seeking a Commercial Beverage Equipment Field Technician for Coffee Machine Repair Company with good mechanical knowledge and a desire to learn. Prior commercial beverage/coffee equipment repair and refrigeration experience is a plus, but not required! We work on commercial beverage equipment made by manufacturers such as Bunn, Nestle, Wilbur Curtis, and Fetco. Technicians will utilize their personal vehicle and tools to travel to the customer locations and provide necessary service (i.e., installations, reactive repair services, equipment refurbishment, and preventive maintenance).

This opportunity may initially be a part-time position with the expectation of becoming a full-time position. While our Techs mostly work the dayshift M-F, there is no "set schedule" which can allow for more flexibility. Most service calls are reactionary in nature, so we continually strive to provide timely service.

Job Requirements:

• Perform field service repair calls, installations, and preventive maintenance on commercial beverage equipment
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions on equipment such as ice machines, fountain dispensers, frozen beverage dispensers, coffee brewing/grinding systems, and cappuccino/espresso equipment
• Maintain parts/machine inventory to effectively respond to customer calls for service
• Accurately report daily activities for invoicing and tracking
• Ability to submit accurate paperwork in a timely manner
• Ability to identify prioritize work orders & reorganizing your schedule accordingly in order to meet deadlines
• Ability to read wiring diagrams & schematics
• Enjoys working independently with minimal direct supervision and in a fast-paced environment
• Strong written & oral communication skills
• Ability to work variable and flexible hours
• Ability to receive parts and commercial beverage equipment to your home address, as well as store equipment briefly till it can be returned to manufacturers.
• MUST have and maintain a valid driver’s license w/ an acceptable motor vehicle record (Required), own tools, and have a dependable vehicle
• High school or equivalent

Physical Requirements:

• Working conditions require driving to and from job site locations using your own vehicle/tools
• Working conditions may vary depending on the type of call and location
• Lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to climb a ladder (if needed)
• Frequent standing, driving, walking, stooping, and kneeling, turning the head and torso, reaching, grasping, bending, and flexing the arms, legs, wrists, hands, and fingers

Job Types: Part or Full-time (*May be closer to part-time in the beginning phase)

Salary: $50.00 per billable hour

Experience/Knowledge:

• 1-year commercial beverage machine repair: 1 year.
• Must have some electrical troubleshooting knowledge.
• Be able to read volts, amps, ohms, and continuity on multimeters.
• Must have some plumbing knowledge.
