Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
- Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands.
- Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies.
- Complete daily checklist, keeping track of ingredient inventory and collaborating with other kitchen and management staff to resupply.
- Assisting with ordering of produce and other kitchen supplies.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper food handling practices.
- Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a kitchen setting preferred.
- Strong culinary skills, including knife skills and meal preparation techniques preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with a customer-focused attitude.
- Able to meet all scheduling commitments.
