Responsibilities
- Prepare a variety of smoothies according to established recipes, ensuring consistency in taste and presentation.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to food safety standards and regulations.
- Engage with customers, taking their orders accurately and providing recommendations based on their preferences.
- Operate cash registers for processing payments, handling cash transactions with precision.
- Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting shortages as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during peak hours while maintaining a positive atmosphere.
- Stay informed about menu items, including nutritional information and seasonal offerings, to effectively communicate with customers.
Experience
- Previous experience in food preparation or the food industry is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with patrons.
- Basic math skills for handling cash register operations and retail math calculations.
- Familiarity with food safety practices is highly desirable.
- Experience in a café or similar environment is a plus, particularly with smoothie or beverage preparation.
