JOB DESCRIPTION
The Warehouse Manager is responsible for running the day-to-day operations at our local market warehouse. You will be the owner of the space, receiving inbound products and equipment, organizing inventory, staging orders for the drivers, and keeping the warehouse safe, clean, and audit-ready. This role is ideal for someone who likes structure, takes pride in their work, and wants a flexible part-time position (approximately 20-25 hours/week).
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Receive, inspect, and put away inbound shipments of Java House products and water equipment
- Maintain accurate inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies; merchandising, flagging low inventory or aging products
- Place sales orders for product, and equipment according to inventory demands
- Pick, pack, and stage daily orders for the Route Sales Driver
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment
- Coordinate with the Area Sales Manager and Route Sale Driver on delivery schedules and inventory needs
- Manage equipment storage, basic asset tracking, and returns/RMA handling
- Provide reporting updates to Area Sales Manager and upper-management
- Provide backup delivery service to the dedicated route in the event the daily delivery driver is unavailable
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- 1 years of warehouse, distribution, and/or inventory experience
- Experience using inventory software, Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Proficient with powered and nonpowered industrial lifts. Company certification provided
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods of time
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Availability to work approximately 20-25 hours a week with some flexibility in schedule
- Must be able to travel locally as needed to pick up supplies
- Valid driver's license with a clean motor vehicle report
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate
- 1-2 years of previous commercial driving experience (DOT regulated not required)
- Bilingual proficiency (e.g., English/Spanish) is preferred, but not required
