JOB DESCRIPTION
As the Manager of Sales Operations, you will be responsible for leading the processes, systems, and analytics that enable the sales organization to operate effectively and efficiently. This role ensures that the sales team has tools, data, and resources to meet revenue goals. The Manager of Sales Operations partners closely with the SVP and GM, Sales Leadership, Marketing, Finance, Business Analytics, and other departments to drive strategy, reporting, forecasting, territory management, inventory planning, and process improvements.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Facilitate the sales forecasting, planning, and budgeting process for the overall organization
- Drive alignment of sales strategies with company objectives and revenue targets
- Contribute to pricing strategy development to optimize profitability and competitiveness
- Create and maintain the sales process, process documentation while ensuring accuracy and alignment with performance goals, and drive best practices
- Oversee CRM (Salesforce) usage, onboarding and training and ensure data integrity optimization
- Collaborate cross-functionally on inventory management, demand planning, and fulfillment strategies
- Responsible for the generation of sales reports and dashboards, providing insights into sales pipelines, conversation rates, and operational metrics
- Develop and provide input to senior leaders in the development and administration of quota setting, sales incentive compensation programs, including commissions, bonuses, promotions, and tracking
- Conduct analyses to derive insights that will drive business decisions and direct strategy, specifically to support national accounts, target accounts and cross-sell opportunities
- Lead pipeline and forecasting management and processes to ensure accuracy, consistency, and ability to manage business
- Oversee territory and account assignment
- Evaluate, select, and manage 3rd party vendor and tech to support sales operations
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Sales Management, or related field; MBA preferred
- 5 -10 years of experience in sales operations, sales management, marketing analytics, or related work in a high-growth, fast-paced environment
- Expertise with business reporting tools, sales analytics tools, prospecting tools, and CRM platforms
- Deep understanding of sales methodologies and value-based selling and preferred experience in both B2B and/or B2C sales
- Highly skilled in consuming data to drive business recommendations and illustrate findings in a visual format that effectively convey insights
- Proven success in designing and improving sales processes and developing high-performing teams
