Field Sales Representative

D&W is currently looking for an experienced Field Sales Representative to cover our territories in Pennsylvania that include Bradford, Susquehanna, Wayne, Pike, Lackawanna, Wyoming, Sullivan, Columbia, Luzerne, Carbon and Monroe counties.  The successful candidate will be self-motivated and possess proven success in sales by professionally promoting, selling and supporting assigned D&W product lines. Job Responsibilities: Generate new customer accounts as well as service and maintain existing accounts Analyze customer needs and interests and determine how company products and services can best meet their needs Plan and organize sales strategies Expedite the resolution of customer problems, issues and complaints Interact with key decision makers on a regular basis, know their needs Advise and assist customers in areas including inventory, service availability, new products and services Take orders from customers, provide literature and guidance as needed Achieve sales and performance goals Conduct all business transactions in an ethical manner Job Requirements: Prior experience in the truck, automotive or parts industry is preferred, diesel knowledge is a plus Knowledge of selling techniques, must be able to speak the customer’s language Strong time management skills Ability to travel within an assigned territory This position requires a valid state driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record D&W Diesel, Inc. is an employee owned, $125 million business with over 350 employees in 8 locations.
