Power Drive - Converter Disassembly
Job Overview: The disassembly position is very detail-oriented and labor intensive. This position is responsible for the disassembly of the cut converter utilizing basic hand tools and a grinder. This position will also be responsible for loading and unloading components into a washer. This position may require lifting up to 50lbs. Associates must be fast paced and communicate effectively. This position is responsible for cutting open of up to 140 converters daily utilizing a lathe. The ideal candidate would have lathe experience and experience using air tools. This position requires an individual who can lift constantly and has good focus.
Schedule:
- Monday - Friday 6:30am-3:00pm
- Overtime available
Qualifications
- The ability to lift, bend, push, pull and move materials up to 50lbs.
- The ability to stand or walk an entire shift (can be approx... 8-10 hours)
- The ability to use handheld tools such as drills, impacts, hammers, calipers, and micrometers.
- Standing: Continuously
- Walking: Occasionally
- Sitting: None
- Stooping (forward leaning): Occasionally
- Reaching/Working Overhead: Occasionally
Salary and Benefits:
- Starting rate $20.00 based on experience.
