Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Fire Sprinkler Project Estimator / Project Manager to join our team and drive the successful execution of Fire Sprinkler projects from initial estimate to project completion. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead complex projects, collaborate with clients and subcontractors, and ensure precise cost control and scheduling. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Fire Sprinkler estimating, project management, and site experience, with a passion for delivering high-quality results on time and within budget.
Duties
- Prepare accurate and comprehensive construction estimates ensuring all costs are accounted for including labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor bids
- Lead project planning sessions to develop detailed schedules, scope of work, and resource allocations that align with client expectations and project goals
- Negotiate contracts with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to secure favorable terms while maintaining strong professional relationships
- Oversee project execution, ensuring adherence to safety standards, quality specifications, and schedule milestones
- Implement effective cost control measures throughout the project lifecycle to monitor expenses and prevent budget overruns
- Coordinate with design teams, clients, vendors, and subcontractors to facilitate seamless communication and problem-solving
- Manage contractual obligations, change orders, and documentation to ensure compliance and clear record-keeping
Experience
- Experience in Fire Sprinkler estimating combined with hands-on construction site management or supervision preferred.
- Strong negotiation skills demonstrated through successful contract negotiations with clients and vendors
- In-depth knowledge of fire sprinkler management practices including scheduling, cost control, safety protocols, and quality assurance
- Familiarity with contracts, project management methodologies, and construction law principles
- Prior experience managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines
- Excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with team members at all levels of the organization
Pay:
$50-100k commission depending on experience
