We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electronic Repair Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of electronic devices and systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.Responsibilities:Involves working with Surface Mount Technology (SMT) and through-hole.Quality Inspection: Conduct visual inspections of components, in-process assemblies, and final products for defects, such as solder joint issues, component misplacement, polarity errors, and general damage.Utilize inspection equipment like microscopes and specialized lighting.Verify compliance with industry standards, such as IPC-A-610 (Acceptability of Electronic Assemblies) or J-STD-001 (Requirements for Soldered Electrical and Electronic Assemblies).Use precision measuring instruments like calipers and micrometers.Documentation & Reporting:Accurately document inspection results, defects, and non-conformities using computer systems or written logs.Maintain records for traceability and quality assurance.Safety & Process Adherence:Also, understand basic electronic theory, be able to do electrical testing work with a lead test technician to compile a good quality process flow.Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary training in electronics technology or a related field is preferred.Minimum 2 years of experience in electronic repair or a technical support role.Strong knowledge of electronic circuits, components, and repair techniques.Proficiency with hand tools, soldering equipment, and diagnostic instruments.Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and service documentation.Company DescriptionJasper Electronics provides both standard and custom-designed power supplies to exceed the dynamic requirements of technological advancements and our customers.
