Role Description
Jasper Builders is seeking an experienced Estimator for a full-time, on-site position located in Mooresville, NC. The Estimator will be responsible for analyzing project requirements, preparing detailed cost estimates, performing material take-offs, and collaborating with team members and subcontractors. This role will also involve reviewing blueprints, gathering bid proposals, and ensuring accurate and efficient project budgeting in alignment with company standards.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in construction cost estimation, material take-offs, and quantity surveying
- Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, construction plans, and specifications
- Experience in building strong relationships with vendors, subcontractors, and clients
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and attention-to-detail skills
- Proficiency in construction estimation software and Microsoft Office applications
- Effective communication and negotiation skills to ensure project goals are met
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and adapt to project deadlines
- Relevant experience in residential construction or related fields is preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is a plus
