What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dental Insurance Coordinator, full-time position at Jason Walker DDS PC - Advanced Family Dentistry?

Hours will be 4-5 days a week - must be able to work until 5pm on those days.

Our thriving family practice dental office is seeking a motivated, multi-tasker to work in our front office. The position will require a people person who enjoys dealing with a variety of personalities, as well as working with insurance companies. We are ideally looking for someone with a business administrative/patient services background in the health or dental field with insurance filing experience; however, we are open to applicants truly interested in this type of position, and candidates will be evaluated on other experience, talents and skills.
Pay will be based on experience and ability to learn quickly.
This position would be responsible for scheduling patients, checking in and out patients, insurance filing, computer reporting, collecting money, telephone calling, and overall exceptional customer service. Must have professional appearance and be a team player able to get along with a variety of personalities.
This position is 4 days M-Th 8:00-5:00 and one Friday/month 8:00-1:00.

Other office duties (decorating/special events) as needed.
