Job Duties
Responsible for providing mechanical support for the building and equipment, with a focus on the packaging
line.
Perform repairs effectively and efficiently to have the least amount of downtime
Perform preventative maintenance on all process, packaging and building equipment.
Troubleshoot and perform mechanical and electrical repairs on production equipment
Assist with installation of new production and facility equipment
Identify and address safety and quality issues as discovered
Effectively work as part of a team
Understands and complies with position related safety SOPs and work instructions, especially for Electrical
Safety, Lockout/Tag out, Machine Guarding, Housekeeping, SQF, and Personal Protective Equipment
Requirements
High school, GED or equivalent. Technical college degree preferred
Experience as a maintenance mechanic or tech preferred.
Minimum of 5 years as a maintenance mechanic.
Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge.
Experience with high-speed rotary liquid fillers, labelers, and conveyors.
Experience rebuilding diaphragm pumps, centrifugal pumps, progressive cavity pumps, Westlock control valves,
and gear boxes.
