Fast paced dental office in Grapevine Texas seeking an experienced Patient Care Coordinator to assist with the daily operations of the practice by achieving operational goals and build and maintain superior patient relations. The role will check in patient, check out patients, verify and input insurance, and manage outstanding claims while effectively managing patient scheduling, collections, and specialty referrals.

We will perform to the best of our ability by educating each individual patient and utilizing the latest technological advances. Our ultimate goal is to provide our patients with premium dental care, regardless of their situation.
Responsibilities include:
- Verifies and ensures insurance information in the PMS is correct to allow for clean claim submission.
- Assist with managing all outstanding insurance claims for timely payment.
- Achieve revenue goals by managing patient scheduling, collections and assist lead front desk with management of accounts receivables.
- Maintains patient data to include regulatory charting, personal information, treatment consultation documentation, account history, and electronic data.
- Assists with end of day duties to ensure all procedures and payments are reconciled.
- Works with Lead front desk team member to ensure all her responsibilities are completed efficiently.
- Responds to doctor and patient inquires and seeks assistance when necessary.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Strong Dentrix knowledge with at least 3 years experience
- Possess a proven track record of outstanding customer service and is capable of addressing and managing concerns of patients.
- Strong treatment plan presentation and scheduling skills
- Is a clear persuasive communicator to team and Doctor in positive or negative situations both verbally and in writing.
- Demonstrates ability to hold self and others accountable by setting the right expectations and monitoring projected and accomplished goals.
- Strong knowledge of billing
- Knowledge of insurance plans, PPO discounts and dental terminology
High school diploma or GED; Associates Degree (AA) from a two or four-year college
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
